Indoor Rock Climbing at Academy

E-mail Print PDF

On Wednesday, Mar. 13 about 35 Academy students and family members had a indoor adventure climbing to the top of our Climbing Wall.  Kids from kindergarten through 6th grade scaled the 16' high indoor rock climbing wall.  One of the first to reach the ceiling was our assistant principal, Jenn O'Neill.   Jenn made the 2 accents of the most difficult overhanging wall section.

Jake McDermott from BAMS, Stacy Johnston, Mike Marchand from the Boys and Girls Club, Bob Henry and Mr. Bentley belayed kids and adults while they climbed.  Amy Majer, Pam Maile and Kathy Cassin helped supervise jump roping, hula hooping and gymnastics on the other end of the gym.

You can check out the action on the slide show!
